Summary: The thesis begins with an introduction that includes the justification of the chosen theme, aims and structure of the study and, on the other hand, present and relevance of the theme of violence through four axes; history, society, sport and education. In the first part, dedicated to the concepts, literature review, rationale and theoretical methodological proposal interpretative framework, is primarily a multidisciplinary review of the phenomenon of violence (Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology and Law), in particular referring to the sport. He then discusses the concepts of sport and nonviolence, with the goal of achieving a workable definition of 'violence in sport'. From there, we developed a theoretical framework for studying the phenomenon, using as a reference the review of the various existing theories, given that the proposals identified not reflect the multifactorial nature of this reality. The proposed theoretical framework, called 'fields intercondiconantes', articulated from the areas from which emerge factors allowing violence to collect all possible causes of violence. Complementing also develop all categories explanatory violence; synonyms, antonyms, types, fields, demonstrations, origin, causes, functions and meaning, which we will serve as categories of analysis of the interviews that are reflected in the second party. In the empirical part, by semi-structured interviews, we reconstructed the social representations on violence in the sport of INEF-Galicia. Some of our most important findings were: the social representation of violence in sport in students for degree courses in CAFD, as well as their teachers, is a multidimensional body, the two groups interviewed, teachers and pupils, in their statements show a great unity and internal consistency, INEF-Galicia expresses a thought on violence in sport academic, scientific and rigorous; theoretical framework of our proposal is feasible and valid for the analysis of speeches on violence, and the fields intercondicionantes are a suitable model for analyzing the speeches on violence
