Summary: This research analyzes and determines if there are changes in the behaviors, attitudes, motivation over the years, groups of students of Almeria Mandatory Post Secondary Education and the University of Almeria, in the academic year 2001/02. Populations previously studied by researchers Hemández Rodriguez (2001) in the course 1996197y Ruiz John (2001) in 1998/99, the results of which we used to develop a longitudinal analysis of trends, an extension in time of three five years. Regardless, we have also conducted a cross-sectional analysis among both populations. To achieve the goals outlined in this study, we opted for a method of quantitative research, using descriptive, as a technical survey and the questionnaire as a tool. There are three populations of this work. On the one hand, students of Almeria Mandatory Post Secondary Education and other university students of first and second cycle. For the selection of the sample of each, has used the stratified sampling procedure polietápico by afijación proportional, with the proviso that with the collective Post Secondary Mandatory were used cluster stage of sampling. So the representative sample of the population of Post Secondary Education Mandatory is 1,016 subjects, the first degree is 991 subjects and belonging to the second stage is 843 subjects. This is a validity of the results in a margin of sampling error of +-3% and a confidence level of 95.5%. The field work was conducted between February and May 2002, applied in the classroom so autoadministrada standardized questionnaire in the presence of an interviewer. The findings about the free time available note that regardless of the type of population, there is still a relationship between the time period analyzed and leisure time available, and on working days available shortly on weekends enough and in much of the holiday periods. As the years have demonstrated the existence of changes in the availability of free time, denying the presence of linear patterns of behavior. With regard to the occupation of spare time, it is shown that this still marked by periods of life, making passive leisure activities during the week, activities regarding social and fun on weekends and active leisure activities and sports in holiday periods. It is interesting to note an association between increased availability of free time continued with the practice of activities físico-deportivas. As for attitudes towards activity físico-deportiva, continuous presence of a marked interest in the practice of this type of activity, although it has fallen over the years. The positive assessments of the classes of Physical Education conducted by the students, along with parents' attitudes toward the practice físico-deportiva of children's free time, impacting positively in the interest of the latter to such practices. Another of the conclusions obtained in this study, is that a single reason does not determine the different behaviors practice fisicodeportiva, is the lack of time and laziness and unwillingness major cause of inactivity, while the most important reasons for people being active health-related and affiliation relations soc 8 iales. 526 Continuing with the findings, stating that there has been a decline in the rate of students, significantly increasing neglect físico-deportivo and remaining stable, the percentage of students who have never been active. Regardless of the type of modality done, dominated practice on their own and without competitive nature. We can assert that demand is preferably carried out activities fisicodeportivas more and more jobs and that there is uniformity in the application of the holiday periods in the three populations under study, preferring practice fisico-deportiva freely and without competitive nature.

Summary: The problem of the relationship between physical activity, sport habits, lifestyles and quality, is of great importance for the isntituto National Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) of the Republic of Cuba as an institution, given its social custom. In the specific conditions under which Cuba is developing a social system, the determination of a computerized basis of a scientific nature of enabling support and endorse the political and administrative decision-making, take a value and a growing urgency. As with the study which led to this Ph.D., has sought to obtain the necessary information from a survey, between March and May 2002, with provincial representation, using the framework maestral, preparatory the population and housing census, the national office of statistics, through a sampling procedure polietapico stratified. The exhibition covers all the municipalities of the city, where from 1144 subjects. In the direction of achieving the goals set out so far, it has established a set of goals that has led to characterize sports habits and health of the population habanera more than 15 years, allowing determine in a fundamental way, that the occupation of free time the habaneros are characterized by the activities of passive recreation and social relationship and fun, basically, were relegated to the sidelines the físico-deportivas, activities that only excel in holiday periods, but being conducted in all periods for boys, which reproduces almost situations that existed decades ago. It also concluded that sex, age and the main activity was erected as the key variables discriminares in behavior before practicing físico-deportiva and health of Havana, while not a valuation of physical education classes received, interest and the demand for this practice are directly related behaviors before practicing activity físico-deportiva free time, so whether or not to be active deferent produces healthy behaviors or risk to the lives of habaneros, and the practices of activity físico-deportiva free time, so whether or not to be active produces different behaviors or health risk to the lives of habaneros, and the practices of activity físico-deportiva free time, a crucial determinant in the health of habaneros. This situation tends to confirm the strengthening of socio-cultural model or sociodeportivo implemented in Cuba, which states the right of everyone to receive this field teaching and practice of sport with a sense environmentally and in terms of improving the health and quality of life of citizens. Another important conclusion to be up in the thesis is the tipolofización seven lifestyles of the population habanera, which is achieved through the procedures of statistical analysis factora and conglomerates in two phases. Finally it can be argued that the results have made it possible to characterize the qualitative and quantitative relationships have been established between population and social service that should develop inder, as the agency responsible for the state to meet the needs of physical and sporting activities of the population, to contribute to the ratification or correcting decisions and organizational strategies and methodologies, including specific levels, and that the results were stratified by age groups, occupations, income levels and education.
